Hi,

I've used NextPVR for the last year with no problems.
I'm now trying to install it on a better PC.

When I click the spanner icon in "channels" I get the "edit channel details" screen ok.
But when I've selected source of XMLTV I'm unable to enter anything into the mapping field.

It's driving me mad!

I don't think it's the XML file, as I've tried it with a copy of my ok one.

Any help appreciated..............

If S: is a shared drive NextPVR server might not see it because of permission issues.

Thanks for looking.

s is the drive letter for my software. It's on the PCs main drive. XMLTV is installed there.

Attach the log files and we'll take a look. There will probably be some error trying to load the file or something.

It seems NextPVR cannot find your S: drive or the folder/file you entered.

2021-08-30 21:43:07.920 [DEBUG][15] Unable to process xmltv file: S:\XMLTV GUI\data.xml (file not found)

What does this mean "s is the drive letter for my software" What type of drive is it?

I believe that the OP meant that they have a drive/partition on a drive in the PC where they install "software" and they gave it drive letter "S:".

Ok I got it now and since the web server works we know that the S: is readable.

Using webroot: S:\NextPVR\wwwroot\

This means that data.xml is the wrong name or there is a file permission error reading it.

Thanks for all the help.

I've looked again at "guide" in the web server, where you put in the XMLTV name, and I can see I've somehow added a leading space in front of the "s:\....".

I've removed the space and it all works!!!

Thanks again,
  Adrian
