The main problem with UI client is NextPVR does send the stop activity so with digital tuner it eventually times out. With extra tuners the tuner isn't stopped either and I see the channel change and it streams the new channel.

With extra tuners the tuner isn't stopped either and I see the channel change and it streams the new channel.The UI client doesn't know anything about a live stream from the client, and isn't involved in the renewals etc, so doesn't see the lease failure, so isn't currently able to tell the client to stop. The live stream is kind of by passing the UI server, and goes directly to other unrelated streaming code. I've been looking at this morning though, and think I can see a solution.

The renewal problem that @eastvin is seeing is different and probably more important to look at but UI client would need it before the lease failure anyway.
