Kodi Matrix 19.5

When I turned on my Sony android TV last night, I noticed that it had automatically downloaded and installed Kodi 19.5. Yet, when going to the kodi website, there is no mention of that version for any platform. Say what? Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on?

Kodi team made a rather stupid and confusing decision to start naming pvr versions with the master version so the current version of pvr.nextpvr is numbered 19.0.3 but beyond the 19 that is not at all related to v19.3, they move independently. Perhaps you are seeing something similar on another addon.

Post a link to your Kodi debug on paste.kodi.tv and I can have a look if you'd like.
