Suddenly stopped playing back recordings

NextPVR has been working great until recently. Installed on Win 10 in March. Nothing has changed as far as I know. Suddenly new recordings will not play back. Click on play and just returns to recordings main screen. Saved programs previously recorded and played before the problem started will still play again. I've even tried to manually open the file on a right click in the client but that doesn't work either.

It's installed on two separate computers and both exhibit the same problems. Leads me to believe some Win 10 update screwed things up.

It also locks up if I try to select live TV.

I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times and that didn't help.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

It is probably not Windows but we need your zipped logs to tell where to go from here.

Have you logged onto the HDHR setup and verified that the channels are still available?

Bingo. that may be the issue. HDI Homerun is suddenly showing no channels available. Tried to rescan and still found no channels.

HDI shows Spectrum cablecard is authenticated but channels disappeared. The HDI Homerun program is not working either.

Didn't think that was the problem because when I checked my Nextpvr recording files they were all there. However, I just noticed the tv files are only a couple of mb rather than gb.

I'll try reestablishing the HDI connection.

Any other suggestions?

May need to try rescanning in the HDHomeRun web app?

(either that or your channels are all copy protected now, and no longer accessible from apps like NextPVR?)

Found the problem. I switched my Charter cable service recently to straight streaming, saves close to $100/month. However, they shut down my cablecard as part of the change and I can't reactivate it unless I go back to the full overpriced service.

I had to sign up for their cloud dvr service to record. Not nearly as good as Nextpvr, but my only option now.

Nextpvr is an outstanding program and I appreciate all the hard work you continue to put into it. If my situation changes, I'll definitely start it up again.
