Multiple user accounts

Hi there.

Similar to that of Jellyfin, multiple user accounts for NextPVR with different levels of access control would be a greatly appreciated feature, especially for opening the box up to the internet.

On a local network or on the internet, for those just wanting to access EPG, this would be useful to have functionality that blocks off settings and such (for the sake of security).

Sub started some work on limiting access to some admin features but I don't expect NextPVR will ever be as granular as Jellyfin or Emby for restricting access to content. You can still use them for accessing content on the Internet.

Direct playback over the Internet is already restricted and I am not sure why sub allowed the default for web playback to be open but you can turn that off with

<AllowRemoteTranscode>false</AllowRemoteTranscode>

Where exactly would you edit that line?

The limiting of certain features or multiple accounts, etc would be a really nice addition even if it's simplistic so I hope progress is made at some point.
The ability to playback over the web is still useful for those who want to use their own setup when not on their own local network or share access to the box. Is it possible to change the default port for NextPVR? I doubt there are furious port scanners looking for NPVR boxes but for security when allowing open access it's essential.

That line is in config.xml for those that only want EPG access. In config.xml you can also change the port, but it might be best to do that with your DMZ to make local setup easier.

NextPVR is for personal use only so "sharing access" to the box is really not a valid use case.
