Strange Issue with Max Connections

Hi all,

I'm having a strange issue with NextPVR and my IPTV service connections. When I run the API to check current conns, it's always maxed out when NextPVR is recording - this keeps me from watching on my tv's because its banging the server and keeps booting me. What's interesting is for my IPTV setup in settings---devices, I have set the Max-connections setting to "2". Hopefully someone can help me fix this issue. 

Running HLS on a Windows machine.

Important to add - the recording has now completed as of 11:30 pm CST but the active conns are showing as "2", which happens to be my max-connection setting. Not running on any other devices or tvs. Strange.

In an earlier post you moved to m3u8 but that one showed a ts stream with 404 errors. In addition I saw multiple redirects it is possible NextPVR is not closing connections on the redirect.

I think this is it. Even when the recording is finished I'm still showing 2 active conns which is the max-conn set in NextPVR. 

No idea why a ts stream would be showing - as I'm positive I swapped to M3U8 stream format. The files are created in the recording directory with the .ts extension, however.

I might have screwed up the log viewer on my tablet. I see many errors on the m3u8 streaming now. I think your provider is just flakey so I will drop out of this thread

Thanks for trying. Hopefully sub can look into it because I still think something is happening on the NextPVR end too. The service might be flakey but the recordings do still complete and the fact remains that NextPVR is still blowing past the set max-connections and slamming the server during recording - even if it is caused by redirect errors.
