Recording Next available Movie after Failure

Lately I have had some recording failures when recording some movies. The same movie is being shown at multiple times so what settings can I select when setting up my recording so if the recording fails then it will try to record the movie the next time it plays? 

Record once does not seem to do it. 

It is not a series so record all episodes does not seem to make sense.

What type of failure? What device are you using for you TV?

HDHomerun with cablecard.

What is your definition of failure?  If it is not recorded or zero bytes a recurring recording will continue to to record it.  If it is a signal issue that is much more difficult to work around.

For the real failure use the search function to match you title rather then using the guide but ideally you should figure out why they fail in the first place

Post the logs next time it fails, and let us know what time it should have recorded, and we'll check it out.

Error message is Failed: No errors but no data delivered. The files are 0 bytes.

When I go to the channel that failed and watch live then I do see whatever is playing.

I will have to check all the tuners to see.

For series I have "record all episodes" set.

For movies I was selecting Record once since they are just single shows.  Should I select,  "Record series all episodes? "

Yes the information from the hdhr logs would be useful.  Watching live TV would generally use a different tuner so seeing your zipped NextPVR logs might help too.
