Why are my recordings not recording completely?

I have a new IPTV service. I have been trying to record some stuff to test it out but it won't record everything completely. I first recorded two streams while watching one on my mobile device on a different player as well. Later, I tried recording four streams at the same time without watching it anywhere else at the same time. The first time is was 30min recordings and the second time, they we're 60min recordings. Each time, it would only record one of the streams fully and the other streams, they wouldn't record completely. The other streams would be from 5 to 10 minutes only.

This is all new to me, I never had this happen to me. I've been able to record many streams at the same time with no problems before.

Looks like a provider error so you need to talk with them.

2024-10-12 12:29:17.033 [DEBUG][136] WebException: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (458) .

Hint don't load entire IPTV lists into NextPVR there is no good reason to do this, it will cause problems.

When you say to not load all of them, you say to not have them all check marked in NextPVR?


Do you know what kind of error it could be, for me to know what to tell them?

When importing, and it first shows the channel list, before saving, you'd typically use the channel group filter to unselect all groups, then only tick the few groups you're genuinely interested in. There is no point in importing 20000+ channels you'll never watch, and will just make things perform like crap. Better to only pull in the 100-200 channel you really want. (if you see thousands of channels in Settings->Channels page, then you've done it the wrong way)

Hard to know for sure. These IPTV pirate services are notoriously unreliable.

Not just checked don't even import them. I don't know how XC login filters, but m3u importing allows you to filter by group when you add them.

The error code 458 is what you need to check. I found this post https://tivimateiptv.info/tivimate-error-code-458/ that suggests your IP might be being blocked for some reason. Perhaps you are running on too many devices?
