Frequent Recording Failure: Stream Unavailable

Recently installed NextPVR server (6.1.1.221106)6.1.1.2211on Ubuntu server 22.04.2 LTS. I frequently have recordings that do not record and give the error "Failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Stream Unavailable". I am using a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD USB tuner. I have Plex server installed on the same machine. I thought the Plex server might be monopolizing the tuners, so I disabled the tuner service, but am still having the same problem. The issue seems inconsistent. Often a reboot will clear it up for a bit, but the last attempt appeared to not make a difference. Any advice for how to proceed with troubleshooting? Logs attached.

The 500 error can simply be because of signal strength which is consistent with what the logs show. NextPVR cannot do anything about that so you need to adjust the antenna and ensure that splits are kept to a minimum. A reboot would likely make no difference.

Thre are command line tools on Linux that can help you tweak things if you find a pattern o what channels don't work.

The best choice would be stopping the NextPVR service and then using the dvbv5-zap program in monitor mode to tune and see how the signal plays. You can it use the adapter0 conf file in /var/opt/nextpvr as the source and should check each tuner with -a

Sounds like I may just need to take some channels out of my NextPVR config so it stops trying to record those or pulling schedule data for them in the first place.

So I think I've gotten to the point that I am monitoring a channel named "Bounce" out of the configuration file for adapter 0, with the following command (correct this if it is wrong, please): sudo dvbv5-zap -c /var/opt/nextpvr/adapter0-ATSC-channels.conf 'Bounce' -m -a 0

I get the below output with the table repeating ad-infinitum until I ctrl-C. What exactly is it that I'm looking for?
