Recording stream following short video clip

Hi Folks,

I am having an issue with recording using NextPVR.

My IPTV streams frequently have a 2 second video clip that appears prior to the live stream. The 2 second video clip is an expiration warning for the service, and appears intermittently prior to the start of the IPTV stream. This is not an issue when watching live streams (aside from the minor inconvenience), but this is a breaking issue when trying to record.

When setting a record, NextPVR will record the video clip and then get stuck and not record the live stream. The resulting file appears to be of the file size and length as expected, but only has a 2 second video clip viewable at the start.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue? Sadly the expiration warning is just a bug (rather than it actually expiring), so I can't solve the cause of this issue sadly.

It's not clear to me what you're trying to describe here.

They might be inserting a video and breaking timestamps. We probably need verbose logs to see the m3u8 contents.

Snippets are generally not helpful but verbose logs might need to be edited for IP info

Sorry, appreciate this can be a little hard to explain so I'll try again.

When watching an IPTV Stream, the player will first play a 2 second video clip. Following that, it will play the IPTV Live Stream as usual.

When trying to record on NextPVR, the 2 second video clip gets recorded, but the following IPTV Live Stream does not.

I end up with a video recording which is the length of the recorded stream, but only contains the 2 second video clip.

Hope that makes better sense.

Yes that is what I expect is happening. The video is being inserted to most new connections to streams.

When you say verbose logs, I assume you just mean the full log files? I am a little nervous to send through the whole thing and can imagine redacting will be hard work. Is there any other secure way I can send perhaps, or can you advise what else I specifically need to search for and include?

No verbose logs are enabled by control clicking the Log button in setting. Sub or I could look at a PM to cloud storage just don't make us go through hoops. OneDrive and Google Drive links are fine.
