My original goal was to provide a utility to update the source conf file as port of the PostUpdateEPG process.

Note that NextPVR doesn't provide a conf file for Linux so you are stuck with the shit in your distro or on LE from the old TVH GitHub.

No what I’ll do is a network scan in TVHeadend and use those results to create a .conf file for NPVR in Linux. I’m done with any of those old predefined mux tables no matter what their source is. In fact I won’t mention them again if you don’t. ?

OK I pass it through use my conf to ini utility too for comparison with the default. Problem is conf files don't contain all the information that I scrape (at least based on your last conf file) so I've asked sub if he needs it for Windows or SAT>IP If not I still have to go to the scraping sites.

I have to mention the satellite sites because these files do change often and if channels change frequency or other characteristics I might be able to reduce the amount of user scanning from the scanning conf file by allow updating the tuning adapter conf file(s) at least on Linux. I figure users on 10936 could already be screwed, I've asked sub for clarification for frequency and pid change logic too.
