Failed Recording - ABC Stream

Does NextPVR support 'crypto+https:' for direct play? This might need ffmpeg or an Extra.

It does support the basic AES key encryption often used by m3u8 streams. It does not support playready or widevine encryption.

Regarding retrying, can this be amended above 90 seconds?

Doubt the official ABC stream is offline for this period, thinking it might be https://c.mjh.nz/abc-nsw.m3u8 which is relaying/breaking GEOlocation unoffically perhaps?

Seems to be a weekly issue.

When NextPVR is downloading a stream from ABC, it's a series of small requests. Typically 1-2 request every few seconds. The timeout effects how long it'll wait for the web server to return the result from any one of those requests.

If a request fails, like it times out, NextPVR will retry. If it hasn't got data back from the service for 90 seconds, it gives up.

Yep, could be. The Australian TV stations absolutely do geo blocking. (The https://c.mjh.nz/ stream just redirects you to the official Australian stream)

No worries, if this continues I will look at a Aus proxy and grab direct from the official ABC stream.

There was also a taken of the mjh urls for a while https://torrentfreak.com/dazn-dmca-notic...ms-240108/

Not sure about the comment that this is just like an URL shortener, I know here in Canada we charge Google FB etc for scraping news content so the question is still open IMO about unencoded streams designed for web browser access.
