So, if I understand correctly, you are adding 00 to what you are getting from NextPVR. Then, you extract the 3 last characters from digits. Why are you sending each digit on a line instead of having

irsend SEND_ONCE RNG-150 KEY_${digital:0:1} KEY_${digital:1:1} KEY_${digital:2:1} KEY_OK

Is it to get some delay between two numbers? That would be my guess but I may be wrong.

No reason really, my last STB was pretty slow to read digits the new one can read them faster and did give a bit of delay. It is really how fast to start up irsend the STB won't notice

BTW, I now have AC3 sound. The receiver was set to stereo. I've put it in multichannel and AC3 started working. So I have just about everything (image and sound) and can change channel if they have 0, 1, 4 and 5 as the digit. I've still not figure why irrecorder is having issue with the other digit. It may say that it recorded the proper IR sequence but when I test it, it's not working or it work with another number in it's place (for example, the 8 is either not working, either becoming a 4). So, once this is fixed, I'll be pretty much ready to move to linux for good.
