Why is internet required

Hi,

I recently lost internet service and found that when watching TV with NextPVR, the video stops after about a minute. I subsequently found out that internet access is required, but why? At the server side, I unchecked the boxes related to artwork sources as I thought this was the cause of the issues but it didn't make a difference. I have attached logs.

You have configured 3 IPTV source so any channels on those would require Internet

I suspect the actual problem is that you changed a default in Kodi to request show art work and that is causing Kodi to spam the server with multiple calls and then the database doesn't get updated so a lease renewal fails. Clearly Kodi requesting art is not consistent with having art downloads turned off.

I have suggested to sub that he change the sqlite timeout on AddTempFile to avoid this apparent deadlock

Thanks for the very quick response. I was using the TV source from the USB tuner. I will try removing the setting in Kodi for artwork (if I can find it) and will remove the IPTV too as I don't need them. The deadlock certainly isn't good! I've experienced this a few times when dealing with Postgres databases!

It's in Kodi pvr.nextpvr settings Display and recordings.  I should probably make it an expert setting since it needs to grab art fast from a reliable source since it tries to grab as you scroll each show in the guide.
