Version: 7.0.1.241229  

Preferred streaming profile is "Default".

I change it in the web page to 1080p or 720p and the next day I see it has switched back to Default.  

What is this Default resolution/speed?  What setting do I change to adjust the default in the Streaming profile to another resolution permanently in the config file?

I wasn't aware of any issue that would cause it to reset this setting. I'll try to check it later today.

The default is 720p - 4Mbps.

No rush.  In fact I should have said its a low priority.  Perhaps its my lack of understanding of how this functions.  Since writing the original note I have checked both the HTPC and one of my multiple handhelds and they both still had the same settings as yesterday.... just not the same as each other.  Perhaps this is something not on the backend? I was expecting the setting to be the same everywhere as a result of changing it on a device.

That explains things. The streaming setting for the client transcoding and is by client (stored as a browser storage). The recording profile is the one saved on the server.

The reason it does this is because you might want to use different profile on one device vs another. ie, phone vs large tv.
