AllowRemoteStreaming necessary for connecting remotely with the Android Client?

Interesting that Android Client has a 9-char PIN limit while Kodi doesn’t. Good to know AllowRemoteStreaming is legacy.

Maybe the Android app could add clearer PIN rules? Either way, appreciate the devs’ work!

I agree on the Android app, but I get the impression that they don't want to (or can't) update the Android app at this point. Not sure if that's true; it's just the impression I get.

I had the same problem with a long PIN and, by using a 9 characters alphanumeric PIN (with only one symbol), I could connect remotely with the Android Client.
