Viewing Recordings From Earlier Version of NextPVR

Hello,

Yesterday I updated NextPVR to version 7.0.2 from an older version of 4.2.5. I have recorded a few TV programs with the new version and they recorded fine and are located where I have other recorded TV programs from v 4.2.5. I cannot get the older recordings to display along with the recordings from the newer version. And when I say 'display' I mean viewing all of the thumbnails created for the recordings together, both from the old and new versions. Is there something I can do to get all of the NextPVR recordings to display together?

It depends on how you upgraded, and what instructions you followed, they use different locations. If it is on the same PC and you still have C:\Users\Public\NPVR then it shouldn't be too hard.

I checked the PC where both versions of NextPVR had been installed and I see:
C:\Users\Public\NPVR
C:|Users\Public\NPVR-data

OK that's a start. Did you do anything to import your recordings?

No.

OK back up your new NPVR-data copy of npvr.db3 and then download NextTool https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/NextTool and follow the instruction on setting it up.

Then from the command line

CD "C:\Programs Files\NextPVR"
NextTool --copy

I wrote this like over 3 years ok now so I can't confirm it will work.
