NextPVR Service not automaticaly running

[Brucek2839]

Hello,
I am having an issue with the NextPVR service not automatically running after a system reboot.  I have it set to run automatically but for whatever reason it will not start running without me having to go in and start it manually.
Any thoughts?
Thank You,
Bruce

I don't know what this error means, but this in combination with you running NextPVR.exe without the server for hours is not a good thing. See if stopping NextPVR.exe when the server is down helps.

Code:

2025-09-11 21:50:51.813 [ERROR][21] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at NShared.RecordingService.GetServerStatus() at NShared.RecordingServiceProxy.GetServerStatus() at NShared.Extend.SystemRequestHandler.GetStatus(Dictionary`2 parameters) at NShared.Extend.SystemRequestHandler.HandleRequest(String method, Dictionary`2 parameters) at NShared.Extend.PluginFactory.HandleRequest(ServiceResponseStream serviceResponseStream, Dictionary`2 parameters) at NPVR.Controllers.ServicesController.HandleServiceRequest(String body, String contentType)

but it could be the cause.
