Channel 5 & ITV3 from Astra 28.2E

Hello and Help please

I would like to add  Channel 5 & 5+1 plus ITV3 (&+1) HD to my satellite stations. From what I can make out they are available on Astra28.2F

I have added the info which I “think” should find them to a scan list.
When ‘asking’ one of my DVBS devices - both Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-S2 01676 USB TV Tuner HD Digital Satellite (Montage Technology M88DS3103) units to scan channels I get a momentary >>>scanning 1130500 followed by the next frequency on my this but no new stations.

Log files attached + the scan table I created + image of blind scan dome by friend on his system, which confirms the presence of Channel 5 and Astra 28.2F

In my NextPVR browser window I note the alert: Version: 7.0.1.241229 (7.0.3.250920 is available for download).
Does this version come with more recent scan list(s) I am unable to install (no instructions that I can find on the net)

Running Kodi under Librelec 12.02 on Raspi4 4gb.

Linux scan files are atrocious so no they haven't been updated for a while.  Unfortunately LE missed 7.0.2 because of issues with arm but there should be a new version 7.0.3 but that won't help this Linux issue.  There are files here https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/tree/dvb-s which might be able to help if you put it here /storage/.kodi/addons/service.nextpvr/dtv-scan-tables/dvb-s/Astra-28.2F  You do need 3 scans if you don't make a custom file.

Why didn't you send the zipped logs that NextPVR creates for you?  What you sent doesn't help as much as those logs.  As an example has 5 even changed in years?  I would think this scan file would get it

I am looking into using bouquets to help UK users but I haven't received much help on this forum.  I will try and upload a custom scan file for you to see if that helps if that one doesn't.  Do you know which bouquet you are in?

Evenings, whilst my wife is watching the programs that get recorded using nextPVR, I spend either messing around with Linux or making alterations to KODI/NextPVR. I will not have another option for a couple of evenings to try your suggestion but as soon as I have, I’ll let you know the result.
I’m sorry to say, other than a bunch of flowers I haven’t learnt yet what a bouquet is although Google has made me think it might be a stream of data coming down from a satellite which contains information about more than one TV channel - is it not the same as muxing and more importantly, how would I establish which one I am in?

Bouquets are a mechanism to keep dvb-s current without scanning by the ever changing frequencies in conf and ini files. It is used by mythtv https://mizar.mythtv.org/wiki/DVB_UK and TVHeadend. My feeling from the outside is that people with dvb-s shy away from rescanning because of potential complications in configuration. I'd like it to be something done in seconds with no major worries like your friend's receiver.

Just back from a few days away, apologies for the slow response.
Really happy to say that the scan table in you earlier post (2025-09-25, 12:04 AM) allowed me to find add the channels I was after.

Apologies for not uploading all the log files you might have needed.
I have all the most recent log files saved tonight + a screen shot of the full list of stations that were found in scan I made (in which directory is this data held immediately after it is scanned). let me know if of use.
