Comskip for the web client

Apologies in advance, I'm sure this is somewhere but I am not seeing it on the wiki or through cursory searches - 

how does one set up the web client for comskip playback support? is there a certain file format or a checkbox somewhere that I am missing?

AFAIK the web client doesn't support comskip but the UI client on the main web settings page will.

10-4 - thanks. Yeah looks like my comskip configuration works just fine in that client.

Direct play clients will give a better almost seamless experience.

Let's start with the easy changes

- you installed as root which is not supported by the deb installer and you need to set up proper recording directories.
- you are using SAT>IP and not DVB-C they are quite different.
- you have an XMLTV file that is not configured properly.

That all being said I can see that only the first frequency is getting guide data and I see in the logs were this could be an issue. I will discuss with sub.
