Silicon Dust HDhomerun vs HDhomerun

Hi all,
Its been a while since I've used NPVR, but I'm having an issue.

Ive only got an OTA antenna for TV sgnals)

I've got the "SiliconDust HDhomerun dual HDHR3 US" device.  I've got it hooked into my router.  I went to the first PC and set it up.  When I scanned for devices it returned 2 "HDhomeruns" and 4 "SiliconDust HDhomeruns".  2 of these were for QAM and 2 were for Atsc. 

At first I tried to setup NPVR and chose the "HDhomerun" devices.  No video or audio.  I then set NPVR up with the Atsc SiliconDust HDhomerun devices (2 tuners) and NPVR worked perfectly.

I then went to another PC on my lan and tried to setup NPVR there as well.  When I scan for devices I only get the HDhomerun devices.  NPVR does not see the SiliconDust HDHR.

I tried to make the HDhomerun device work, but it does not (just like before).

Why can 2 instances of NPVR on different Win 10 machines, but on the same network not see the same tuners?

For HDHR mode you need to have configured your channel properly with the Silicondust app.

You may need the Silicondust app installed on that second PC.

No logs no problems.

It still did not work with npvr but it works fine with the hdhomerun app so I'm just going to stick with that.

That is why it isn't really your time or ours posting without logs.
