IPTV AU Channel 9 channels not working

I tired with a VPN and ffmpeg really struggles with that m3u list. Maybe change this to false in config.xml

However this will require a new dll from sub.

Try this updated NShared.dll when you get a chance. Replace the existing file of the same name.

The NShare.dll kinda worked but caused problems with other channels for me. After spending a bit of time on it then running through Claude led to the attached summary. The solution has proven stable for the last couple of days for my docker install on Asustor. I tried adding a pdf but that doesn't get through. So copy and paste...

1. Create the wrapper Save this as config/bin/ffmpeg-wrapper in the folder you mount as /config:

It only adds the options when the input is an m3u8 URL, so NextPVR's own local /live input is left alone. Your wrapper test used -allowed_extensions ALL too, so I've kept both options to match what worked.

2. Create the startup hook Save this as config/scripts/PreStartup.sh:

cp /config/bin/ffmpeg-wrapper /usr/bin/ffmpeg

Make both files executable on the host:
chmod +x config/bin/ffmpeg-wrapper config/scripts/PreStartup.sh

3. Restart and verify Restart the container, then check the swap worked:

docker exec <container> head -3 /usr/bin/ffmpeg

You should see #!/bin/bash. Then open 9Gem live in the web client. In the log, the rolling file should grow well past 1316 bytes and the Invalid data error should be gone.

•
The hook runs on every start, so it also survives the container being recreated or the image updated.
•
If a future NextPVR update calls ffmpeg by a full path other than /usr/bin/ffmpeg, the wrapper will be bypassed and the error will return. The log's Executing: ffmpeg ... lines suggest it uses the PATH, so this should be fine for now.

Channel 9 is probably the same story, since it's on the same mux, but check it separately.
