Would it be an issue with Windows MCE 2005, that doesn't show up under Windows XP?

Is there any way of tuning the card through a batch file?

Thanks for looking into it.

I think there was a conflict with one of the Windows Media Center Services.

I went to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services and disabled the Media Center Extender Service, the Media Center Receiver Service, and the Media Center Scheduler Service. It may work if just the receiver service is disabled, but I haven't tried it.

I had to reboot the computer before this would work. I could have saved several hours of frustration if I would have rebooted the first time I tried this - stopping the service is not enough.

I will try using this for a few days, and if it continues to work, I will post a step-by-step instruction guide.

Thanks again sub for all of your help and amazingly quick responses.

I just purchased one of these cards myself. I'm curious about the success of this since I'm about to try doing the same thing. I'm also working on a 2005 MCE box. I do have the latest BDA driver from these guys, so I'll give it a whirl as well.
