Real Audio ripped music at 320kbps MP3

These don't seem to play, when I try to play them nothing happens. 192kbps encoded tracks will play.

Is there a limit to the bitrate in GBPVR please - I'd like to use the highest possible?

I'm not aware of any limitation. Do these files play in Windows Media Player? If so, then it should work in GB-PVR.

Just re-ripped it and checked it again on 2 pcs. Media Player plays up to 320kbps mp3 fine but gbpvr seems to ignore them.

I ripped them with Real Audio 10 and they play in Media Player 10. By the way my media player 10 will only allow .wma to be ripped up to 192kbps, when I switch to mp3 it allows 320kbps - but maybe this is a clue why they don't play on my setup.

When playing in gbpvr anything over 192kbps is ignored - on my setup at least - maybe someone could check on theirs to rule out a configuration issue?

The majority of my music files were ripped with WMP 10 at 320kbps (MP3) and playback with GB-PVR on my PC and through my MVP. Urrrm, can't say more than that really.

I've just tried a mp3 320kbps ripped in Windows Media Player 10 and that works fine in gbpvr!!! I didn't think I had the option in Windows Media Player to do mp3 which is why I used Real Audio. I'll make sure I rip all my music in WMP rather than Real Player 10 from now on.

So it looks like it might be an issue with files ripped using real audio or it still could be just my setup. If somebody could please confirm if Real Player 10 ripped 320kbps mp3's work or not in gbpvr we could maybe add it to a faq.

I didn't think I had the option in Windows Media Player to do mp3 which is why I used Real Audio.

WMP9 had a low kbps MP3 option if I remember correctly - WMP10 introduced 320kbps MP3.

I can't comment on anything to do with Real Player - I personally don't allow it anywhere near any computer of mine.
