When playing DVD's the screen size isnt being displayed wide enough. instead of say 16:9 its 12:8. The result is everything is streached vertically. Im using the nvidia decoder and dont see an option to adjust this. Is there a way to set this in gbpvr?

Also, The dvd plays back fine when I play it through Windows media player using the same decoder settings.

I asked a similar question, see the thread below. Playing around with the seetings using notepad enabled me to get a set of aspect ratios which I'm pretty happy with.

ok, this is basically what I want to adjust...but do those numbers represent? Also there are 4 aspect ratios listed. Are they for different uses? like 1 for tv, 2 for dvds...? Ill start fiddling Smile but anything you have learned would be appreciated.

0,0,1,1
ok first 0 = left position (0 = the zero coord, ie absolute left for your screen, you can use a minus value to stretch it offscreen)
second 0 = top position
first 1 = width (1 = 100%, so play around with values like 0.92 - 1.12 etc)
second 1 = height.

it just takes a lot of playing around until you get it right.

you have to use F7 to cycle through the aspect ratio.
