Could somebody post a link to the lcdplugin again as the current attachment results in a corrupt download

Probably; it's the browser that causes the problem. With InternetExplorer, i had the same problem; using Firefox the download was ok.

When no data is available, the plugin shows the current date and time. Is it possible to show nothing?
I'd like to show next recordings, and currently playing music/video, etc. on one screen; but i don't want to show the current time/date 3 times.
Gomer: could you make this a parameter in the dll-call, instead of "whatsoever" :-)

this plugin is a great start! I have been using both gbpvr and smartie for a while now, but i just found this plugin while trolling the forums. I have a few suggestions though, as it is not useful to me in it's present form:

Only the raw information should be sent to smartie, as anything else such as "Next Recording" and date and time can be added by using smartie. The great thing about smartie is that people can use so many different lcds, and customize them to do whatever they want. This plugin only allows for one setup. It would be great to have the current recording title, start time, end time, and channel, all on separate smartie functions. For example:

$dll(SmartiePlugin.dll,5,whatever,whatever) = current recording title
$dll(SmartiePlugin.dll,6,whatever,whatever) = start time

Also, does anyone know if this info (the recording info) is updated while the gui for GBPVR is not running? I don't have it running all the time (when im doing work) and it seems to be stuck on the same output.

I was recently forced to rebuild my boot partition from scratch. Prior to this, had this plugin working. Went back through all the steps posted here:

Installed plugin dll's
Installed common dll
added my videos plugin

HOwever, get nothing. I suspect that the Smartie plugin needs more than just the elements listed above. In the past I had played with lots of plugins and much of that code was in my GBPVR install area, with the rebuild that is gone.

Could someone who has this working post a listing of their plugins directory?

PS. I know there is a new plugin, but that is not working form me either for a different reason.
