I am using Compro T200 and it is working fine on LiveTv.

When I record the picture is garbled (though not constantly), and the sound misses every other second.

Is there a better MPEG2 decoder I can use. If I install PowerDVD for example will that give me another option on the decoderlist.

Its probably your multiplexer filter. What are you using (Cyberlink/InterVideo/ShowShifter) and what version is it?

I dont know. What version is it? I use Cyberlink Mux v5.0.0.727, which works very well with my Twinhan DVB-S device.
