first of all this is my first post here and I wanted to say that this is an excellent piece of software. Been using it for about a week now, congrats!

now about some of the testing of 0.13 today:
- there is a bug in Girder channel changer configuration. When I try to set "use three digit..." flag it gets dropped as soon as I close configuration utility. I can see that the flag is not set by simply going back to config. And as a consequence there is no padding [Image: sad.gif] I tried to set the flag directly in MDB file, but it didn't help either
- TV guide shown on TV via Media MVP is almost impossible to read. The font is too small and not sharp. Anything I'm doing wrong or is this a known issue?
- Live TV over Media MVP works intermittently. It looks like it depends on the availability of the buffer on the server. Basically if I go to program guide and select something to watch, there is a pause and then it goes back to the menu. But if i wait a little bit and click Live TV, then I can watch the program. Is this a known issue?

Thanks

Good spotting on Girder bug. I've corrected it for the next release.

In the Config app there is a "MVP LiveTV pre-play delay" which might need to be bumped up for you setup. Try a few different setting and see what works best for you.

The font looks good on the two TVs I run it on. If you need to change it take a look in "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\tv guide\skin.xml". In there you'll be able to change the type face and size. Because there is so much text to display on one this one screen, I found I needed a reasonably small font but its still quite readible on my TVs.

i managed to get channel padding to work (as i use it on mine), but not entirely sure how. I think i went back in and reslected, or something like that, butthere must be a way to do it [Image: smile.gif]

If you know girder you can pad it using my script for the time being. You will need to edit the tune channel script, make "l" equal to 3, and for the difference between "l" and the actual channel length transmit zeros.

If you want to attempt this, and need a pionter, just ask [Image: smile.gif]

good point Matt, i can definitely change your script at the girder end for the time being. I think i can handle that, but in case of a struggle will ask you for help
