Would the MVP work via 802.11b ?

Hi all,

I am getting ready to extend my media experience onto another TV
But atm, the 802.11g bridges are lil pricey...

so am wondering if i can get away with using a 802.11b bridge only..
i'll mostly be watching mpeg2's.. ie, my tv recordings.

Please help
