I have a GB-PVR system (in my sig.) It runs pretty fine. However when I pause it after a couple of minutes sometimes it takes a while to pause (sometiems from 30 sec-5 minutes.) Is this normal, or is there a way to fix it? Thanks

No its not normal. Its probably related to the combination of directshow filters on your machine - sorry, not much help I know.

Well I installed the nVidia decoder (I have a GF4 anyway.) It works wonderfully now! (I was using the Cyberlink decoder included with PowerDVD before)

A general note - it's known that any codec you can remove from your system (because you know you won't be using it) is a blessing. Window takes long to build the graphs too, so removing unwanted codecs saves time in starting the playback.
