NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

GB-PVR will not function correctly.

At least thats what it says. GBPVR works fine for me. I have a load of multiplexers in my bda multiplexer list. currently using happauge mpeg2 and it seems to be working. if i change it to ms dvr-ms, the playback gets jerky i think once in awhile. i havnt tried them all. figured i had a hauppauge card, the hauppauge muxer would be a good candidate.

point is. the checker says none installed.

What is muxes do you think you have on your machine? The MuxChecker will only show the mux filters that are on your machine and usable by GB-PVR, with the exception of the DVR-MS option which is a special case. The only other muxes compatible with GB-PVR are the Intervideo/Cyberlink/Showshifter muxes. You dont have any of these on your machine, or they would be shown by the MuxChecker.

...from the current v0.93 release announcement:
Quote:dont use the 'Hauppauge WinTV Muxer' mux option until you get the OK from me. Hauppauge need to make a change to their software to fix a bug, and have said they will, so it'll only be able work when some future Hauppauge software is installed.

Ok sub, I can try switching it to something else. My only point was it said gbpvr will not function and it is.

If those muxers are not available, why are they included in the dropdown list on the misc page?

and if i recall (im not at home) when im on the hauppauge muxer the display is sharp with little lines that run horizontal during high motion. if i use the ms dvr-ms then the picture is fuzzy without those lines.

The DVR-MS option is kind of special case option, and not a Mux filter in your traditional sense. I'll update the 'gbpvr will not function' message to something like 'gbpvr will not function unless you're running WinXPSP2 with built in DVR-MS muxing component'.

The Hauppauge muxer option is included because hopefully it'll magically start working some day very soon. It'll require updated Hauppauge software to be installed. They have indicated they will make this change.

The Hauppauge option does not currently work. If you select it, it'll just fall back to using one of the other muxes.
