Hi,

I don't know what's happening but I just entered a new recording for this afternoon using the TV-Guide or XGuide, but once entered, the guides are not updated (the Show in the guide do not appear in red to show that it will be recorded).
Also, in Video (Video Archive plug-in), when I look at the pending listing for today, the Show is not scheduled.
But if I look at the guide through the EnhandedWebAdmin, the Show appear as scheduled...
So which one is to trust?
Will the show be recorded or not?
What should I look for to debug this problem? (Maybe there is some logs???)

P.S. The Shows that were scheduled under GB-PVR 0.92.11 all appear fine, but I am not sure if I ever succeed to add a new Show under 0.93.10... Could it be a problem with the DB missing a new column or something like that???

Thanks

Have a look and see if you have any error messages in your log when you try to schedule a recording.

If you installed into the default directory, there are many logs in the c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr directory. All the *.log files are logfiles =) The ones with a number in them are older logs, the ones without a number are the most previous logs.
I'm not always right

After some more check, I discovered that the Show will be recorded starting next week even if I scheduled for a season recording using today showing.
But then I tried to add today Show by doing a Quick Record, and it is now showing up in red in the TV Guide and on the Pending list in Video Archive plug-in.

What I found in the log was:
2005-08-28 10:48:38.531 VERBOSE [339] getDatabaseConnection() creating new connection
2005-08-28 10:48:38.546 VERBOSE [339] RecordingFactor.ScheduleSeasonRecordings(5, Star Trek: Voyager)
2005-08-28 10:48:38.546 VERBOSE [339] getValue cached value: /settings/AvoidDuplicateRecordingsIfPossible : true
2005-08-28 10:48:38.546 VERBOSE [339] RecordingFactory.loadSchedule()
2005-08-28 10:48:38.687 VERBOSE [339] RecordingFactory.getExtrasForGroup(35)
2005-08-28 10:48:38.687 VERBOSE [339] getDatabaseConnection() creating new connection
2005-08-28 10:48:38.687 VERBOSE [339] Found potential match at 2005-08-28 14:00:00
2005-08-28 10:48:38.687 VERBOSE [339] - skipping episode because a schedule recording already matches this episode: EP7714050001

But since not else was schedule at that hour today, I do not understand this log...
