I have these three devices in my HTPC and will install your s/w today, but as the 3 devices i have:
Hauppauge PVR350,
DVICO Fusion HDTV dvb-T1
and Asus 9600xt/tvd VGA card

all have analogue inputs to capture an analogue source.

will GBPVR be able to access any combination of the 3 input devices simultaneaously? (Keeping in mind that the dvb-T1 and Asus9600XT/TVD would need software Mpeg encoders. Which software encoder do you recommend?)

Thanks in advance! Wink

no

The PVR350 is fully supported. You will only be able to use the digital side of the Fusion - the analog side does not work with GB-PVR. The video input device on te Asus is not supported at all by GB-PVR, so this can only be used as a regular video card (output only).

thanks.

I should only need the PVR350 hardware encoder for the analogue recordings anyway.

the Fusion dvb-t1 takes care of the digital stuff!

I just tried to install, and it says i need .net???

Yes, as it says on the front page of http://www.gbpvr.com/ you need the .net runtime v1.1 installed. You can get it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...layLang=en

Thanks,

Will gbpvr allow me to record using the dvb-t as well as record using the PVR350 plus watch a pre-recorded program (either dvb-t or mpeg2)?

I believe the answer to this is yes. (I'm in the US so I don't really know what DVB-T is). As long as your HTPC is powerful enough to record two shows and playback a third previously recorded show simultaneously, you should be fine.

I have both the PVR350 and the Fusion dvb-t card working independantly using their own supplied software,

In GBpvr i cant see the dvb-t card, where do i activate this?

Thanks

You need to add a capture source for the Fusion. Set it up to use the BDA recorder, and select Fusion T1 as the device, and select your region from the list. Then setup your EPG. Lastly press the "Map EPG channels to digital channels" button.
