Music Player

Hi All:

New to gb-pvr ... (I've been trying all sorts of plug-ins and reading your forum today)

One question that i couldn't find a final answer on (it was mentioned) with the music player. I downloaded the most recent version of the music player and installed...

I found the following>

Under gbpvr the jukebox works fine ... when using media-mvp server, it plays one tune and stops.

Also, ctrl-R (Delete) button works on future plays ... but on past (which aren't removed from list) or current ... an object not found error is displayed. (this happens with both gbpvr/non-media-mvp and gbpvr/media-mvp ui).

Any thoughts? I checked the log files and don't see any unusual error messages.

What skin are you using? My guess is that the object not found error when using control R is because it can not find the graphic which it flashes on the screen to show an error. The plug-in can only remove future tunes from the playlist. If you try to remove something in the past or the currently playing tune using the defualt blue skin, it looks for a file named error.png in the blue\music player directory and flashes it in the upper right hand corner of the screen 3 times.

With respect to the files being played, you can look in the jeff subdirectory under GBPVR and you should see some logs called musicplayer-PC.log and/or musicplayer-MVP.log. These should show you what they player is doing.

right now i'm using the xmedia platinum. I'm sure you're right ... i'm missing a graphics file.... The other music play item that i mentioned (the juke box stopping after one song) is a bit more confusing.... No log info found but this in the music panel widget log ... no errors at all:
