Live preview mode is slow

I have a minor problem with live preview mode on my GB-PVR system (in sig.) Video is not as smooth on live preview mode as it is on timeshift mode. For example the tickers on news channels look blurry in live preview mode but they are smooth in timeshift mode. Also the video usually starts "breaking up" after I flip through a few channels in live preview mode. Sometimes I have A/V sync issues as well. Anyone have any idea what's up with this? Thanks

What deinterlace setting are you using?

Try "encoder pass through" This fixed the problem you describe for me.
