Hey all, I'm getting this when I try to watch TV through TV guide (I just get black screen on live TV)

As a side note my machine has suddenly started to playback very small and stretched

Any thoughts on either of these - I'm thinking they maybe related?

What version of GB-PVR are you running?

I upgraded after I saw the stretched picture thing (it had been fine) hoping it may help - I don't know if the live tv was a problem prior to the upgrade as I don't use it much...

The stretched picture thing will be related to your choice of decoder. Some of them try to force a specific aspect ratio. I think this can be changed through the nvidia tray icon. I prefer the 'anamorphic' setting which lets GB-PVR stretch the video to fullscreen, but how well this works for you will depend on the true aspect ratio of your tv/monitor resolution.

There was a bug in the previous release which could cause live tv to die with the same error your logs ended with, but this is no longer an issue with v0.93.10 so it cant be that.

Some audio decoders dont like the encoder pass through mode, so I'd try using some others if you have them available to see if the problem goes away. You also could try switching your deinterlaving to none briefly to see if it helps.

Ahhh - Yes this now fine - Audio Decoder was set to system default - I have now selected Intervideo and all is good

I really didn't touch this setting so could another application being installed/uninstalled of changed the default?

Off to sort out my stretchy problem!

If you installed any new audio or video decoder this could have changed the default.
