Pending/reoccurring not listed

First my compliments for this great application!
Second: I'm impressed that sub keeps up with the enorm amount of messages in the support forum.

Sometimes my overview of reoccurring recordings was incomplete or empty. Finaly I discovered a way to reproduce it (v19 and v20):

main menu -> recordings -> ready -> scroll to the last recording (on second page) in my case the 18th -> reocurring: empty

'Pending' is at that point also empty.

(I'm using the mouse)

Workaround is easy:
back to main menu -> recordings -> reocurring

Finaly something for the wish list: is it possible to show a symbol at the top and the bottom of a view when the list continues outside the view.

Nice program, I am just trying to use v 0.20.5 as a DVR for recording weekly Satellite school feeds with a Plextor Convertx. There is no EPG for the private SAT, so I have to use the Manual Recording method...but even if I use the "Record Every Week" option it doesn't ever show up under the Reoccuring menu...Before or After the recording happens.

I don't think so, the setup sounds familiar.

I'm using GB-PVR for recording shows from my SAT reciever, which is sending on a private channel to my TV-card, say ch 48.

But I also want to see EPG for all the channels, so I set that up. Now I change all channel numbers to point to ch 48 - voila.

The last step is to get an IR-blaster so that I don't have to manually change channels on the SAT (I have not gotten this yet).

Nope, I created some channels manually and w/ no IR blaster I have just manually entered the timer functions into the SAT receivers EPG list and used the Manual recording. It goes into Pending and then records but never stays in the Recurring list.

OK, it looks like a bit of an oversight on my part. The manual reoccuring recording work but just dont show up in the reoccuring section. At the moment they show up in the pending section and say 'next records at..."

I'll fix this for the next release.

Thanks!! sub I will set up a small record test recurring weekly and let you know how it goes. I was afraid I would have to write something on my own.... Ugh... I will be so glad to get rid of the ATI card I have and not have to RE-Encode everything.

OK, I did not address the manual recording problem (the superb sub jumped in and fixed that ), and what you say about setting up the SAT EPG recording is valid since you have to switch to the correct channel.

But, what I was trying to give you a suggestion of, was that you can use the EPG in GB-PVR even though you are recording from your "private SAT", and thereby don't have to set up the recording manually in GB-PVR. (This is what made me start using my PC as a PVR.)

I've just mixed things up instead of clearing anything out - haven't I? Sorry about that - just ignore me and I'll go away
