Support for PowerView TV Tuner Card

Hi folks... I would really appreciate if you guys could support the PowerView TV Tuner card. When I saw "and lots others" in your list of supported cards, I was pretty hopeful, but upon installing the software, it didn't work for me.

I'm also willing to make a donation if you guys can pull this off.

As I understand it, that card does not have a hardware mpeg encoder. You might get it to work with the software recorder plugin, though.

Can you please tell me if I'll have to do something other than just isntall the software recorder plugin? Is there some configuration? Or would it just start working when it detects the software recorder plugin installed?

Shit... this ain't working... Keep getting error messages trying to update the EPG. Apparently that's really important to get the thing going...

Keep getting the following error message:
"Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG Source Settings and try again."

Do I really need the moonlight stuff?

How is your problem now? I have same problem I bought this card from factorydirect.ca and keeping in mind that it may be defective I exchanged that with another one but the results are same. Can I get update from you

i have this card i got it from factory direct but the remote in the picture looks nothing like the one i got and dosent work with gbpvr.
..it uses philips saa7130 chip set

i got it working ..but only live tv i cant get it to record though

Sorry, I missed this thread for some reason, sorry I haven't replied until now. That said, I know absolutely nothing about how the software recorder works. I think normanr developed it. Anyway, you are better off asking this in the plugins forum (if you haven't done this already), as the developer might not be reading this forum.
