Hey guys,

I have a WinTV PVR150 and a WinTV PVR250 USB2 setup on my pc. I'm trying to figure out the best way to manage the guides for both. I read the multiple pvr troubleshooting page but there are a few things I'm not clear on.

It says if you have one digital box and one analog cable, setup respective pvrs to do one each. I went to zap2it and added another digital cable lineup to my profile (now one cable and one digital). But when I go to the channel setup in gbpvr config and press update EPG, it pulls all channels for both PVRs. I 'disable' channels 1-76 on my digital one but whenever it updates, it enables them all again. Not to mention, when I go to the analog cable one, I have the daunting task of disabling over 700 digital channels one by one (there's no multiple hilite feature). Do I have to create another zap2it account for digital?? How are multiple lineups handled? By the way, my 'map digital channels' button is always greyed out.

Thanks alot!

Yes, GB-PVR can only use the first channel lineup in your zap2it account, so you'll need to have two accounts if your need two lineups.

You dont need to do this. This is for digital cards that use DVB-S/DVB-T, where you need to scan a satellite etc.

Sub,

Ah perfect thanks. One other thing. Will 2 guides screw up zaptools? Has anyone reported any problems with multiple zap2it accounts going into the zaptools.mdb?

Thanks again,

I have 2 zap2it accounts and when I tried zaptools it did not do anything there was nothing in the zapdb.mdb it is completely empty. I think I did everything right. If someone to go over the correct setup I can test again. For now I just remarked out the lines in the postupdateepg.bat file.
