See Ninja Warrior and Shorty st on the 19th both using the same capture should, then weirdly, Balls of steel in on same channel as Ninja Warrior and yet uses a different source.

It looks to me like it's behaving as it should. Source 5 is the highest priority source, so it uses that when it can; Ninja Warrior and Shortland Street don't overlap, so it uses 5 for both of them. For Balls of Steel, source 5 is already in use for True Beauty on a different frequency, so it uses source 18.

There are settings in config.xml that may change this behavior:

<PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>false</PreferAlternatingCaptureSources>
<TryToHonourPaddingIfPossible>true</TryToHonourPaddingIfPossible>

If you set the first to True it should record Ninja Warrior and Shortland St on different tuners if it can.

With padding they Do overlap, this was from the pending log. I think I need to see what's happening after epg download to see why it puts them together. The shorty St show of the wifes has been cut off

How do you have the config.xml settings I listed set? Having them both set to True would be best for you I think.
