I am after a TV card with Composite In which is supported by GBPVR. I would like to capture the channels from my Sky Box. It should also have a remote which is fully supported by GBPVR.

The tuner part can be Analog or Digital. Obviously Digital would be prefered.

I am open to all suggestions!

You don't need a digital card if your capturing from sky. I would look at the pvr150 as it will have an ir blaster which should change your set top box channels instead of using the sky remote. Whether it is the best picture quality on composite I believe the ati 550 will be better but that doesn't have an ir blaster or a remote that is natively supported by gbpvr to my knowledge. Also as composite is the not the best quality connection so I doubt that there will be much difference in the PQ between the two cards.

Thanks for the reply!

Sorry, but I did not mean that I wanted to use the Sky Remote. I am after a capture card with it's own remote, which is supported by GBPVR. I would like it to be able to support all standard features of GBPVR, i.e Play, Stop, Fwd, Select, etc via the Remote.

I read in other posts that GBPVR supports all capture devices with hardware capturing and proper WDM Drivers?

I have a Remote Wonder which is supported by GBPVR (via plugin), but it does not support all the features, hence my request for a capture card with a remote.

If however the ATI 550 Pro is a better capture card and is supported by GBPVR then that would probably be my best bet!

If anyone else has a better suggestion, feel free to let me know.

Thanks again
