Hey I have question, would it be possible to watch a orb created stream through some sort of GBPVR plugin?

I have seen it posted "if wmp plays it it should work in GBPVR".

What about .axs streams? This might be a way to intergrate ORB into a GBPvr plugin.

What if we get GBPVR to interface with ORB, so we could watch our show's from GBPVR while were away from home. For instance GBPvr on a laptop at a hotel someplace.

Its not really what this thread is about but it is sort of an IPTV application.
GBPVR Server:
AMD Sempron 3300+, 1gb DDR, 100, 200 & 500gb HDDs, DVD -/+RW PVR150 RETAIL, PVR150MCE.
GBPVR 1.0.16, SKIN'S = Default Blue, PLUGIN'S = None

IPTV should create a different kind of system then what you have today. Today you have 3 major choices. Your cable company, dish network or direct tv.

Imaging if every cable company and telcom company were battling. Imaging just being able to pay for the 10 channels out of the 500 that you really watch. It might drop the price.

Time to sell the time warner stock.

Just seems that since they are deploying it we should be able to find some .net interface to save the content off.

I like the idea but I think your dreaming. The cable company had the option to let you buy just what you wanted. They opted to make it all packaged. The satalite co's followed suite. They want to sell you packages. Weather its the Telco/Cable or Satliite they want to get all your services packaged together for "one low price". Because then they have you by the balls.

Trust me I work for a competitive phone co. We start out different, but we ended up packaging our products in way that encourages you to buy more stuff sometimes its stuff you wont really use, but its a nice extra for the price

But it would be really nice to buy only what you want and not pay extra for the stuff you don't.
