Hello.
To get rid of extensive spyware, I will be rebuilding my xp machine. Before I do so, is there any files from the gbpvr directory I can save that will allow me to keep the configuration and recordings I have currently (My recordings are on another physical drive that will remain intact). If I save the config.xml and the database, is that enough to get things back to the way they are now?

Thanks...

The ones I come think of is config.xml and the database... Make sure you have already upgraded to the latest version of gbpvr before uninstalling. This will ensure that your database has a chance of working with the next install (which I assume you will make from the latest version of gbpvr) Smile
I'm not always right
GB-PVR 1.2.9
Accent HT-400 Case, AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 1024MB, 1TB+300GB+180GB, WinXP Pro-SP2, NVidia 7600GT
Nova-T USB2, PVR-350 recording from Dilog 355 DVB-T box, USB-UIRT (receiving & transmitting)

Yes, config.xml and gbpvr.mdb are all you need but make sure you re-install the same version of GB-PVR that you're using now. The config.xml has version info embedded in it which will confuse the msi installer if it doesn't match what is actually installed and also, with new versions often come new settings. Similarly, sub changed the internal design of the gbpvr.mdb a version or two back. Copying them into an install of a different version could cause major problems.
