Skinning Question

I've been trying lately to simplify a skin and make it consistent and intuitive throughout. So far I've been pretty successfull with the plugin's i use. I'm at a standstill in the Music Library though. So far I've not been able to change the selected text to a different color from the list text. I can change the text color and change the selection bar color but that's all.

I've been able to change the buttons to what i wanted but am unable to do anything more than change the color of the text in the list view.

Would anyone know if I'm just spinning my wheels here or is it possible to do. From looking around at different skins I've not seen anyone else that has done this either so maybe it's not possible.


Any words of wisdom from the experienced skinners, please!

i don't think it is possible to change something in that plugin. when there is no option in the skin.xml-file than the whole thing is hard-coded in the plugin.

You need to post what you're talking about here, give an example in the form of screen dump or screen capture image. So someone can help you out, might me?

i must have missed your first post, i didn't understand the Again! but anyway maybe a couple of pictures will describe better.

In the first picture i have the button as i like, the text as i want. As i move the buttong down the list the color of the text changes from dark blue to white, perfect. just what i wanted. as i move over to the listings part i have the general text in dark blue, perfect. but i can't get it to change to white as i move the bar up and down to select. Also the bar i have in light pink now but really wanted to be able to match the other side like the buttons so my wife can plainly see that where ever that type button is that/s where she can select something.

I hope this is clearer. I'm in way uncharted territory here so i may not be explaining it right. I have a feeling that dottore is correct and that it can't be changed in the music library. I was looking at your skin tipstir and i think had you been able to use the graphic buttons like you did everywhere else you probably would have instead, of just the flat color bar.

Thanks, i suspected as much. Maybe it'll be something changed in the next version.
