Getting Channels

I am having a really hard time getting the channles from my GB-PVR. I am using a WIN TV- PVR 150 if that helps. I am a really big noob to all of this and any help would be gladly appreciated. I scanned the channels with the tuning assitant, but then I dont know what to do after that because the channle tab in the cinfigure isnt showing up wiht any channles. Thanks -Colin

You need to create a capture source, and configure the card type, and setup the EPG. Do an 'update EPG' to get it to pull in the list of channels. If you're in the US, you wont need to do anything future to set up the channels. If you're in another country, you'll need to enter the correct channel numbers next to each channel. You can find these correct numbers by running the tuning assisant.

I m really new to this and did not understand abotu half of that. I opned up the configure and then clicked on the Capture source tab. I then clicked add and then I am lost at what to do then. I have a WinTV-PVR 150 and I live in the US if that helps. Thanks for your patience with me.

Whenever I hit update EPG it gives me a "This capture source needs to be saved before the EPG is imported. Save Capture source now?" and then I click ok, and it brings up another window that says "you must set up the recording source before you can continue" I hope that helps pin point the problem because I dont knwo what that means. Thanks again for your patience.

Select 'zap2it' as the EPG source, then click the settings button. Visit http://labs.zap2it.com and create an account. When it asks for your certificate code use 'DCZM-DENI-BUTV'.

Enter your new zap2it username and password into the GB-PVR zap2it configuration screen. Click 'ok' to close that window.

Click the 'Update EPG' button.

Thank you so much, I was really stressing out over this thinking I got myself in way over my head. I have one last question if you wouldnt mind answering it, is there a way I can play my XBOX from this and plug in the red yellow and white jacks? Thanks again for all of your help
