oo man, sorry about all that. I didn't have any problems with the case on my end. I only had one 100GB in it and it was fine. Although, when I got the case, it had 2 40GB HDD's in their and I was using that for about a month with no problems.

I hope the case isn't totally worthless to you. Any plans for getting a big hard drive?

It's not your fault. It worked fine until I added a second drive. The first was a 320 and I added a 300, so it's certainly a bigger power draw than what you used it for. Personally I think the 300w should have been enough since I was using a old, low end graphics card. It may be the PS was getting ready to go out and only shows problems under a heavier load. I did notice the voltages weren't quite 12v even with one drive, but they weren't causing any trouble.

However, in the last week I added a newer video card (6200 GT) and plan on adding another tuner if a 350w PS can handle it, so I'm not sure even a well-functioning 300 watt PS would have been quite enough for that. As it is now, until I can get a new 350 from CoolerMaster I'm running with a spare 350 I had laying around. I can't actually attach it to the case or put the case top back on since it's a standard ATX PS, but at least the machine is usable while I await the new one. It just looks ugly. Smile

I only posted in case wannabepvr or others were considering the Cavalier case. In my opinion it's not worth it no matter how nice it looks or how cheap it is since you're dependent on CoolerMaster for the PS.
