Volume control with the Line input on PVR150

Hi

Can anyone assist with the small problem I have. My set-up is using the A/V input on the PVR 150 from my STB. There is a volume control and this is always set to max. When I record a show or watch live TV the sound output is via my AMP and is aways distorted. I found that if I reduce the volume on the STB to about 75%, it sounds great.

Problem is is that the Wife and kids tend to change it even when I ask them not to. so programs get stuffed due to the volume level being to high.

Is there a tweak that will reduce the volume on the input for the PVR150
? does that tweak program do the job ?? if I reduce the input dB level ???

Seach for the Hauppauge Tweak Tool. It'll allow you to change this.

I've got it on the system and not played with it much. Will give it ago.
