delete recordings - issue

seems to be a windows-problem: when i watch a recording and afterwards want to delete it, the recording disappears from the menu, but not from my hd.

when i then try to delete it manualy it says, i cannot delete the file, because it is used by another program. even if i close gbpvr and stop the service i get this message.

Hi,

this is very strange behaviour. When I delete a recording from within GB-PVR the file also stays on the HD and I also can not delete it from within file explorer directly after watching if GB-PVR is still running, but when I stop GB-PVR I can delete it without any problems.

Nevertheless I would wish to be able to also delete the actual file from within GB-PVR and not only the entry in the recordings listing.

Yes, I suspect this only happens after immediately after viewing a file. I think my video process is holding the file open, so it tries to delete the file but fails quietly. If you watch even a short part of any other video, you're probably then able to delete the file.

I'll add this to the list of things to look at.

Mine behaves in the way Sub described it. If I open any other video file, I'm able to delete again. Opening another mp3 file didn't fix it.
