Visualization Mods/Skinning help

Hi Tipstir,

I'm using XMEDIA LE and I want to modify the visualizations location. Right now the visualization is a big square on the right hand side. I want to move it to the bottom and stretched across the whole screen. This will only look good with the "mountain" visualzation (not the correct term).

Can you tell me where in the skins files I can change the location of this?

Also, I'm using Video Archive and just found that I can choose letters by pressing the number keys. It also shows the letter that is active...the problem is it's not placed very well, I was wondering if it can be moved to the bottom left hand corner. Can you tell me where in the skin files I can look to change this as well.

For the visualizations:
Probably in something like [skin name]\main menu\skin.xml
You'll find the Special Element "inset" near the bottom of that file. The location is in coordinates (top left being 0,0).

For the Video Archive:
I haven't seen what you're talking about... but depending on what view your in (list or preview), you'll find the file(s) you'll need to edit in [skin name]\archive\list view skin.xml (or "preview view skin.xml")
I'll have to look into this because this text entry thing is probably in a "bad" location on my skin as well. =)
