Dave: just taken a look at the screen shot of your Homeseer plugin here (not on the Wiki?) I like the way you've done the buttons. Would be interested in adding it to gbpvruielements - probably name it ButtonGrid or something similar.

And also the PDF is just amazing, well written, clear screenshots and with a ton of useful information. Would be good if I can write docs half as good as this for the elements dll :eek: .

Hey McB ... just a quick note cause I'm in middle of rolling out a new gbpvr box ...
Thanks for the kind words ... couple of things ...
- do not try and run the HS plug and then judge me ... the latest version of gbpvr broke it and I've not reposted cause a) I'm somewhat lazy and b) BOTH users (me and Nightwalker) have the corrected version -- but I will repost.
- I just got access to Wiki and have not put it there for reasons a) and b) above -- but will ... the ScreenButton manager thing is an interesting academic exercise if anything ... I like the power of it.
- I'm writing another plug right now and extending the screen buttons class to something more like a screen items class ... the plugin itself does something similar to the core video or recording plugins (from a on-screen perspective - a list of "control" buttons and 2 lists of "file like" items) -- it just inherits the screen items for all the UI drudgery and then extends it for the custom stuff (not so much UI though). Nice not to have to worry about drawing the items and doing the rendering.
Anyway ... I'll try to download again and look for the newest version when it comes ... hope this can be a project thing ... dc

Hi dottore and all. Just wondering how the plugin development is going? Have you had time to take a look at the elements libary?

Any suggestions for methods/properties or elements to add?

sorry, currently no development, my notebook has given up i am waiting for a new one, should take 6,7 days. then i must install everything, configure....
i don't think, i can do anything concerning cdplayer or olbia for the next 14 days.
